Duties & Responsibilities

The Montgomery County Maryland Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is seeking two Capital Project Managers. The department continues to expand and innovate, they are looking for talented individuals to join their team and contribute to the development of their groundbreaking Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network, known as Flash.

This role focuses on the development and delivery of major transit projects. If you have a knack for complex technical analysis, conceptual and preliminary design, and working with stakeholders to pursue Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Capital Improvement Grant (CIG) funding, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Requirements

Position requires a minimum of five years of professional experience in design/construction project management, contract administration, and quality control. A bachelor’s degree in architecture, Transportation Planning, Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is also required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
