Wendy has been deeply involved in ASCE throughout her time at Johns Hopkins, serving as President of the student chapter and leading efforts to increase engagement and participation through technical programming and outreach.
She has also played a pivotal leadership role as captain of the steel bridge team, where she has managed design, fabrication, and competition preparation. When the team faced a major fabrication challenge just weeks before competition, Wendy stepped up—personally leading the retrofit and fabrication of the bridge to ensure the team could compete successfully.
