David D. Dee has built a remarkable 36-year career defined by steady leadership, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to the engineering community in Maryland. 

A Professional Engineer with extensive experience in water resources, David has contributed to a wide range of public infrastructure projects across the region, serving communities directly and helping shape projects throughout the DMV. 

Beyond his project work, what truly distinguishes David is his dedication to mentorship and service within ASCE. He is a familiar and consistent presence at events, always encouraging younger engineers to get involved in the profession and sharing his knowledge generously with those coming up behind him.

Known affectionately to many as “DDD,” he has helped foster a strong sense of community—bringing people together, supporting students, and creating an environment where engineers feel welcomed and connected.
